Custom Questions
Custom Questions
allow us to obtain some extra information, that may be helpful for us to know, regarding those being checked in to our classes. These are split into two sections, Medical
, and Other Information
. Medical
questions can be used to find out if a person has any allergies, or has to take any medication, for example. Other Information
questions, may be used to gain consent for a person to be included in photos or videos.
Add Custom Questions
To add a question, we will need to enter the question into the Question
field, on the left, under either Medical
, or Other Information
.
Once the question has been entered, we can decide what type of field will be used for the answer, by selecting an option from the drop down, under Type
. If we select Text Box
or Multiline
, the person answering the question will be able to type an answer. If we select Radio Button
, we will be able to give a selection of options, from which one can be chosen. If we select Tick Box
, a tick box will be displayed that can be ticked to agree, or left unticked, to disagree.
We can then decide whether we want these questions to be required for visitors. If this is selected, then anyone who is added as a visitor, during Check In
, will need to answer the questions.
We can then click the save button, on the right, and we’ll be able to add another question, if we need to. If we need to remove a question, we can click the red dustbin button, that appears to the right of the question.
Complete Custom Questions
Once saved, the questions will appear on Children’s profiles in iKnow. They can then be completed by an Administrator
, who has access to the People
module, and can edit users profiles. Alternatively, a parent can log into their own iKnow profile, click the dropdown menu at the top right, and click their name. They will be able to see any children in their household, and will be able to complete the Custom Questions
for them.
