Creating a Super Circle
For us to add a new Circle or Super Circle, we need to go to the Settings module, in the menu, then choose Circles.
Super Circles allow us to create a Super Circle that can contain other Circles and, if we have multiple locations, we can add Circles from across all of our locations.
To create a Super Circle, we need to click the, Add Super Circle button, then give it a name, and click the Save button. We are able to add people directly to the Super Circle, or it can be entirely made up of other Circles. For us to add people directly to the Super Circle, we need to click the Select Church dropdown, and choose a church. Start typing names into the search bar, to select people, and click their name in the list, to add them.
To add Circles to the Super Circles, we need to click the blue Super Circles button, next to the Circle we want to add. In the modal that comes up, we will see the Super Circles listed, we need to tick the checkbox next to the Super Circle, or code>Super Circles, that we wish the Circle to be added to, and click the Save button.
Adding a Circle
For us to add a new Circle, we need to click the blue, Add Circle button, enter the name of our new Circle, and click Save. If we are a multi-location Church, and we would like this Circle to be available in each location, we need to click the blue, Enable in All Churches, button. This will allow us to have a Circle of the same name across all locations, however, we will need to select members for each location separately. For us to add members to the Circle, we need to use the dropdown menu to select the relevant location. If we haven’t enabled the Circle for all locations, we will need to tick the Enable checkbox, before we can add members.
We need to start typing names into the search bar, to select people, and click their name in the list to add them to this Circle. We can remove them using the red dustbin button. Once we have added all the members of this Circle, we can click the x, in the top right corner, to return to the Settings page.
Use Circles and Super Circles
The Super Circles and Circles, will appear in the People module. We will then be able to contact all members, quickly and easily, from within iKnow.
We can also add new members to the Super Circles and Circles, through the People module. Simply search for the person you wish to add, and click Edit on their profile. Click the Circles tab, and tick the Member box, to add the person to the relevant Super Circle or Circle. We will be able to see all the Super Circles and Circles, to which a person belongs, by looking at their profile.
