Our church privacy policy should be displayed on our website, and when someone gives their information to our church.
To upload, or change, our privacy policy, we need to go to Settings
, and click GDPR
. Then click on Privacy Policy
button, in the Policies
section, at the bottom of the page.
When we click the Privacy Policy button
, we will see a list showing all the versions of the Privacy Policy, that have been created for our church. Each time we edit our Privacy Policy, a new version will be added to the list, giving us an audit trail of all changes made to our Policy, including who made the changes, and when.
If we want to view our current Privacy Policy, we can click the View
button, at the top of the page. If we want to view any of the previous versions, we can click the View
button alongside the version we wish to view.
If we need to update our Privacy Policy, we need to click the Edit
button, at the top of the page, make the changes that are needed, and click the Save
button, at the bottom of the screen.
A draft Privacy Policy, from iKnow, is available, which can then be amended and personalised for the church. To Purchase a draft Privacy Policy, we can click the Purchase
button, at the top of the screen, and then click Purchase Draft
, in the pop up that appears. We will need to enter our name, and confirm that we are authorised to make the purchase. Payment will be taken using the direct debit that has already been set up for iKnow payments.
