Email Manager


To access Email Manager, we need to go to the Settings module in the menu, and click on Email Manager.

Prayer Chain Messages, allows us to create a group who will receive an email if someone adds a Prayer and Praise item, from their profile, and selects the Prayer Chain option.

People are able to submit a request to join a team, from the Mobile App. The requests will be sent to the email addresses that are added, in Join Team Requests, so that they can be passed on to the relevant team leaders.

The Finance Officer email address, or addresses, is where emails confirming successful Gift Aid claims, or notifying of failed claims, will be sent.

Add Email Addresses


Email addresses can be added to any of the sections, in the Email Manager, by clicking the pencil button on the right hand side. We have the option to add as many email addresses as we need, and these can be people with an iKnow profile, or people who are not in our iKnow database.  

To add someone from our iKnow database, we can click the, Add New button, and start typing their name in the box labelled Name. We can then select the correct person, from the list that appears.

To add someone who is not in our iKnow database, we need to just type their email address into the text box, labelled Email, and click the Add button. To remove a person from an email list, click the red dustbin button.

Once we have added all the email addresses we need, click the x, at the top right of the window, and our changes will be saved.
