If the wrong Donor has been assigned to a Transaction, in error, you are able to unlink the Transaction in some circumstances.
Transactions that have been added to a Gift Aid claim that has not been sent to HMRC cannot be changed unless the Transaction is removed from the claim.

To unlink a Donor from a Transaction, you will need to go to Transactions and locate the Transaction that needs to be changed.
We’ll then need to click the orange pencil button to edit the Transaction. If you are able to unlink the Donor, you will see a red button to the right of the Giving ID. Click this button, and then click the Confirm button.
The Donor will then be unlinked from the Transaction and the Transaction will be moved to the Unassigned tab. If this was the only Transaction for the Donor, the donor profile will be deleted.
We can then go to the Unassigned tab to assign the Transaction to the correct Donor.
